Celebrated Kenyan-born international media personality Larry Madowo has made yet another tremendous move at Cable News Networks (CNN).
This is after the season journalist took online announcing that he would be anchoring news for CNN for “a little bit”.
“New thing alert, I’m anchoring on CNN International from Atlanta for a little bit. Join me Live today and every weekday,” Madowo revealed.
Larry further clarified that that the bulletin airs live at 12 pm in New York but his fans in home Country Kenya can tune in at 7 pm.
Larry’s next move comes just months after he was recently promoted to becoming the Networks International correspondent and relocated to Atlanta in Georgia.
The former NTV news anchor was poached from the BBC just months ago and first appointed as their Nairobi-based correspondent.
Before joining CNN as their Nairobi-based correspondent, he worked in the Northern part of America as a BBC correspondent based in Washington DC.
Among the topics covered by Larry then includes, Covid-19 pandemic, the 2020 US elections, the death of George Floyd, and the trial of Derek Chauvin the then chief suspect in the murder of George Floyd.
The News anchor had previously served as the BBC Africa Business Editor, before exiting the Media House for One year, later coming back to BBC as their North America correspondent, a position he only left later after joining CNN.
