Outrage Online After Controversial Photos Of Form 4 Students Celebrating KCSE Completion Emerge

Netizens have today condemned Form four students from Essong’ollo Secondary School in Vihiga County after they posted controversial photos of them celebrating exam completion. The photos capture male and female students from the mixed school, in compromising positions within the precincts of the school.
A section of netizens have blamed the foundations that the society has inculcated in the minors. Parents, religious leaders, teachers and public figures have been blamed for not creating the right examples for the children to follow.

During the KCSE examinations period, several cases of violence against teachers and indiscipline have been reported across the nation. This depicts the increasing rot in the young generation and the unwillingness of the older generation to correct them. Last week, 10 boys from Annestar Secondary School were arrested after sneaking into the dormitory of a neighbouring girl’s school.
In another unfortunate case, a student in Nyeri was arrested after he attacked a police officer who was stationed to man KCSE examinations in their school. In another separate event in Uasin Gishu county, a student marched out of an examination room claiming that the exams were so hard. These and many more paint the picture of a society that has failed to set the right example for its young generation.
