The main suspect in the Tob Cohen murder case Sarah Wairimu Cohen on Thursday visited her fallen husband’s grave close to four months since his death.
Cohen who was a celebrated golf organizer was reported to have gotten missing in July 2019 only his body to be mined out of an underground reservoir two months later.
The DCI homicides removed the body from the reservoir- simply an underground septic tank- in his Kitusuru home the detectives arresting his wife Sarah in company of other individuals in bid to find the atrocities behind the murder.
Sarah was released on a cash bail on October 11, 2019 but since then she would not be allowed to access the ill-fated home as investigations were still ongoing.
She on Thursday of January 30 reserved some time to check on her late husband’s grave laying a tombstone as she remembers him.
After laying the stone Sarah said she soon would be holding a private fete to commemorate her late husband.
“At a suitable time, I will hold a private ceremony to commemorate the laying of the tombstone as appropriate,” Sarah(53) said.
Cohen was laid to rest at a Jewish Cemetery located along Wangari Maathai Road. Sarah had been barred from attending the send-off ceremony but her vocal lawyer Philip Murgor would fight to see her send her husband off.
